Dear Friends at Ikuryo Clinic,

Thank you to everyone on the team for taking such good care of us this week.

From the midwives, nurses, and doctors to the cooks, housekeeping, to the administrative staff, massage therapist and everyone else, we are truly grateful for all of the support and advice we received here during the birth of our baby girl.

We chose Ikuryo Clinic because of its excellent reputation and consultations with our doula Stephanie - what we learned over the past several months, and particularly over the last week, is that Ikuryo Clinic surpassed any expectations and exceeded our vision of what child birth, recovery, and infant care could be!

We are so impressed by all of the Special details, the concern and sensitive instructions of the staff, and the overall friendly atmosphere of this medical experience.

Being from the United States, this was also an amazing cross-cultural experience and to give birth in Japan, and we are so happy that we had these experiences at Ikuryo Clinic.

We had a chance to meet other parents with newborns and talk about our children's names.

We appreciated how the staff made efforts to explain things clearly to us in Japanese, and find ways to explain in English if we misunderstood.

The special gifts and explanations of Japanese traditions related to childbirth were wonderful.

Finally, we had heard the food was very delicious here, but we had no idea how amazing it would be!

Thank you for all of the beautiful, delicious food - we are everything and loved it!

We would like to especially thank Uemura-sensei and Umeki-san for being a part of our baby's delivery.

They were absolutely amazing, patient, cautious, and exceptionally professional.

Their kindness made a difference in how our child's birth occurred, they worked very closely with doula Stephanie, and at the end of the night, mother, father and baby were all happy and healthy!
